Tescos free range eggs.......YAYTescos free range eggs.......YAYWent in this p.m. and there were only two boxes of six eggs that were free range left on the shelves. The shelves were full of the non free range ones, so looks like the message is well and truly getting through, at least today, anyway.
Re: Tescos free range eggs.......YAYIt is a step in the right direction Gwen.
Although, as most of us are aware "free range" isnt always as higher welfare for the hens as we would like. Did they have an offer on these eggs by any chance? I know that sounds sceptical but super markets and the way they control farmers with pricing etc boils my blood. Relax, I could have been a twin.

Re: Tescos free range eggs.......YAYI would love to think that people are buying more free range now but they don't appear to put out anywhere near as many packs of free range as they do the others.
Re: Tescos free range eggs.......YAYNo special offer that I saw Al. Your right that the empty space wasnt as big as the non free range too, but it is the first time I have seen the shelves that empty in months.
Re: Tescos free range eggs.......YAYI know it's difficult but I would try to bypass the supermarket and buy from a local producer or at least a reseller who buys direct from a local producer.
