I found that idea on the net a few weeks ago and was saving a load of cat food tins with nice smooth sides, I had about ten )c( .. Tony put the bins out and thought he'd do me a favour by popping all the cans out for recycling )gr: !!

If you cant iron, Steve, does that mean you go around all crumpled and crinkly? {rofwl}

I've tried it before but always ended up denting the tin - where am I going wrong? Do you need a really sharp nail?

There's two ways, fill it with water then freeze it for two days, of have a piece of 2x1/2 in the vice to press down on, that's the way I did it couldn't wait for it to freeze!

The implement you use to make the holes needs to be really sharp, I made a tool from a six inch nail, filed it to a point and left a shoulder to act as a stop.
