No we all felt we could have gone further, we had been praticing on the edge of the peak district, lots of hills and the actual ride was really flat!! we all came in within 4 mins of each other just over 2 hours we were very proud of ourselve and have pledged to continue!

Thank you, yes all the gear you see is carried via panniers, as long as it packed evenly its still comfortable to ride the bike. I,m hoping to do a bit more cycle touring this year,France has been talked about :-D

That's nice !

I really like the new design of the curved frame, sort of European and bit retro isn't it.

Oooh I've only just seen this thread, lovely pictures all of you :-D

I'll have to try and get a picture of my bike and hat etc for you - even though I'm not allowed to ride it at the minute sadly {cry}

here's my bike at work (my work not the bike's). it has just got spanking new tyres and a couple of spokes (blade type). Not bad consodering it only cost me £150 as it was a part exchange for an electric bike in the cycle shop, it was only a year old and had not really been ridden before. We looked upt he exact spec for it and brand new it was over £600. now that is a bargain.
