Noisey bag.......

Post by Tink »

Having just got my bus pass I treated myself to a bag on wheels for those free bus trips.
You have never heard anything like it yike* , people stare and I laugh. {rofwl} It has to stop.
The wheels have no rubber on them - any suggestions?
My OH won't walk with me either.

Be proud of your dolly trolley, sneer at those lowly beings who dare to mock her.

Perchy and I have trolleys, mine is black with white floral design. Annie has one too and at least one other Laner so you are in very good company

Hi Tink, I think most of the big DIY stores stock spare wheels!, failing that, cotton wool in your ears.... )run( )run(

Off to Q & B on Weds then with my new over 60's discount card.
Oh the joys.
I am proud of her, she is mauve and blue and matched my coat, got loads in her today in Carmarthen but cleared the streets due to noise pollution.
Thanks for your support and encouragment )t'

When I am old enough to get a bus pass (which may be a considerable time as I believe that here they are doing it at retirement age for women and I won't be able to retire until 66+), I will probably get a trolley too.

If I am not off mine by then )grin2(

Strap a beast of a ghetto blaster to the handle and blast out thrash metal at 200 decibals so no one can hear the wheels )t'

I've got one too and it makes a racket - but it's a good safety feature cos people hear it coming and get out of my way which is a very wise thing to do :-D

aww.......little chucky waiting to go out.
Well I think I have just made the whole situation worse.
Whilst in the garage rumaging about some narrow magnetic strip fell off the sign for the summer village fete.
As its pliable and seems softish I have stuck it on the wheels with superglue.
Whilst doing this I thought what if I am on an esculator and get attatched to the grips......OH and it will all be on CCTV.
I now think the problem is that the wheels are too slack on the pole thing. I will try to get the bolts off and put some washers on............. I did think about rubber tap washers?
I did not think becoming 60 would be like this }hairout{ )j;

Oh dear, I'm no help with regard to the noisy wheels I'm afraid but wanted to say I'd get a trolley-dolly in a shot if I didn't have a car/drive.

If I still lived in London I'd get one )t'

MrsB, that's a fine picture of yours with Sunny there :-D

We have a trolley-dolly suitcase that we always take on flights with us as hand luggage :-D
