Tip for knitters

Visited a mates house yesterday who,s wife does a lot of knitting and saw her using the following.She saves the cardboard roll from the toilet rolls and winds her wool round,put this on a free standing toilet roll holder and puts it next to her chair when knitting,she say,s this keeps the wool flowing and she does not have to keep tugging at it.
When Irish eyes are smiling,they are usually up to mischief.
