brompton bike. has anyone got one?

Post by Brianfromdorset »

Although expensive and primarily ascoiated with riding in the capital I just wondered has anyone got one of these terrific Swiss army knives of the bicycle world?
Id like one myself. Even though I live in dorset !
the thought of a form of transportation that costs nothing to run and that you can tuck under your arm appeals to me.

It's nice to have something to aspire to though Brian - in my case it's an Aston DB9 {rofwl}

Beerless had a folding bike (not a Brompton) years ago and he completely trashed it, it was just too small for him really.

I think he only ever folded it up once when getting a bus home and said it was such a faff he would never bother again.

My hubby as an electric bike, he got it to test to see if they would sell through his business. He thinks its great but I think a little expensive, he didn't buy anymore.
