Finding ends.

Post by p.penn »

Oh please, PLEASE someone put me out of my misery and tell me there is something to help find the end of a ball of wool. PLEEEEEEEEASE!!!

Every time I go to use wool, I have to unravel virtually the whole ball to find the end }hairout{ {mr.angry} Surely, I can't be the only person this happens to? Is there a little gadget to help?

Selotape wrapped round the end like a shoelace. Then when you come to use the ball of wool again just peel it off or if that is too fiddly just snip it off )t'

You want the end on the outside, not the one in the middle....

Thread the end through a safety pin, and knot it.

Those are both good ideas thank you, and I may well try them - I have also just found these bobbins. Do you think they are meant for that/would work? :?

I have just been looking for info on bobbins, and someone mentioned straws, so I hve gut some up into short lengths, and slit halfway down. Work a treat so far! )c(
