Taste and appetite change after illness......

I dont want to frighten anyone. But my eating is all over the place since getting ill last year.
It was my bday so the kids took me to the local pub for a slab up meal and a few drinks..
5 days later I woke up in hospital unawear of where I was or what happened.
I had server sickness and diorreah.
At first they thought I'd had a stroke.
They they thought food poisoning.
All test came back clear.
That was a year ago. Ive lost over 2 stones and cant eat like I use to.( Im a Tauraus we love our food.)
Iv since been diagosed with ME.
My plate size is a tea plate and I dont always eat that. but little and often has helped me as I still get tummy pain...Iv had exrays and scans but everything ok.
Specialist said after serious tummy upset it can take years to correct itself.
So my advice is eat what you want when you want and if you dont want to eat then dont..
I found a main meal caused pain but bran flakes eased it...so sometimes I just have a bowel of cereal.

Oh no Barking, you poor thing what a lot to have gone through.

Hope you'll get there eventually

My appetite has returned to normal I'm pleased to say.
