Having a bit of a clear out at home! :?
The old floppy disc boxes almost made it to the bin, then I thought.......

I think its great fun to be inventive with things like that Mallard. I used the drawers off an old kitchen unit once for shallots and got good results, of course the drawers only survived the year because of all the watering but still a result. I have got parsnips going in an old laundry basket at the moment {rofwl} bit tight on space here.
Did you manage to drill holes in the base without it splitting ?
It will be alright in the end , if its not alright, it isn't the end .

It came complete with little slotted holes for plastic dividers! :-D

About a foot long, nice size for a seed tray. Bet they're giving them away a boot sales! >veg1<

That's not a bad size. I was looking at an Asda muffin tray one of the clear plastic one's yesterday thinking yes could use that as propogator. Four compartments, clip down lid and jobs a good 'un. Might have to give it a go.

this not countas mini but everything i used was recycled front and back windows from my childrens school(they got em out we out head seeing them) :-D sides and tops from a GH i recycled

I used a plastic lidded tray from farmfo0ds that held 10 packs of, according to my son, very tasty noodles (only £1.50). Makes a perfect mini cold frame. my tomato seeds have came up a treat in it. Think i ill buy more just for the tray. )t'
