They're lovely - especially like the chickens.

(it also has a button on the back covering the ends of the elastic)

Hopefully when I get a sewing machine I'll be able to sew a good few a day :-D

Love both of your makes Lisa. Isn't it surprising what can be made with small remnants, which I'm sure lots of people throw out.
If the phone case fabric was backed with a heavy interfacing, it could be a case for specs.

Ahh that is such a good idea June! My mum uses glasses for reading, wonder if she'd want a case to match her phone pocket :-D
Thank you x

Trim them to look distinctive - if they match too well it could be confusing, especially when looking for specs!

Love the fox and hen Lisa you could maybe make those two into door stoppers if you made them bigger.

My mum said that too :-D When I get a sewing machine I will try it, think it'll take a bit too long hand sewing.

I used this pattern for the pin cushions, http://www.rileyblakedesigns.com/cuttin ... -chickens/

(though I rounded off the front bottom corner so they dont have such a pointy chest :-D )

you could put a specs picture on the specs case.
2 buttons maybe, with embroidered arms.
Or one of those Egyptian 'eye' symbols.

You know what I was thinking button glasses too!
Although the other floral material I ordered has just arrived so I might just make it a different colour :)

Thanks Perchy! :-D
Before I go to sleep now I spend a few hours thinking of what else I can make

Another phone pocket, lined with the cream floral material I've been using cause I have loads of it :-D

It is cheaper buying from boyes though I find, because the material is £6 a meter but it's always doubled over so really I'm getting 2 meters, where as when I order on Ebay it's £4-5 a meter but I am just getting 1 meter. Have also looked in charity shops but can only find clothes and books, nothing with material I can use :(
