We seem to be on a theme of relations tonight.
The smelly flower / relative connection for me is Phlox and Auntie Vi. In the garden in Slough, planted underneath 'Alf's Tower'*

Very evokative, flower scents. Honeysuckle is Summer Holidays in June (while i should have been in Junior school), on the Isle of White. Country lanes and walks with my father in the dusk - glowworms.

*Very well-know locally at the time, the subject of battles with the council, a ham radio tower that he built so high that it was a danger to aircraft.

I only have one wee lonely rose in my garden at the moment thanks to rabbits, chickens and puppy {cry} so it's lovely to have a borrow of yours {hug}
My favourite rose is blue moon, we used to have them in our garden when I was young. it's such a pretty colour.

We hada Blue Moon in our first garden when we were married.
I prefer the 'traditional' colours though, the deep velvety reds, pinks (Albertine), yellows and oranges. Such a variety. The one I loved as a child was in my Grandparents garden. Peace.
