Re: Few photos of recent visitorsAww.
You are lucky we haven't seen so many bees and only one wasp so far !! I had one of those butterfly's dead in my conservatory this morning http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning Re: Few photos of recent visitorsI always get wasps when the plums are ripe. This year they were a real nuisance while I was picking the soft fruit. We know where the nest is but can't get at it.
Nice to have a 'wildlife friendly garden' - wasps on the fruit, rabbits, slugs and pigeons eating the greens, rats gnawing the spuds and moles in the lawn. I rescued a bumble bee and a peacock butterfly that were flapping at the window of the living room and the shed. Dance caller. http://mo-dance-caller.blogspot.co.uk/p/what-i-do.html

Re: Few photos of recent visitorscracking good photos Richard, we have been getting lots of bees on the lavender bush but not honey bees. Poor year for the honey this year though
Re: Few photos of recent visitorsGreat photos Richard. I especially like the young blackbird and you was so lucky to have him or her come in.
I also love taking photos of wildlife but do find the bees give me a run around, so I feel it is quite an achievement when I get one. You managed to get two, so lucky or very proficient. As depth of field etc is all as it should be, I would say proficient. I am now a widow and live with my memories.
Re: Few photos of recent visitorsThere are so many in the garden, I just focus in on one flower and only have to wait a wee while for one to land
I love them.. I took one of four bees inside a Courgette flower, but the focus wasn't good. Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
