In situ. Didn't have anywhere else to put it. So it is on the back of the sofa.
I have to have a throw on the seat of the sofa, as Dave will wipe his mouth on there after eating :? }hairout{ :? }hairout{

Glad you are sorted Wendy. An old aunt of mine advised me to put a piece of white paper or card under the machine needle when trying to thread it. It highlights the hole in the needle.

I take it this isn't one of the self threading sewing machines.

You can use the threaders for hand needles on a sewing machine needle.

I bought some machine needle threaders, they have a slightly longer loop which makes the job easier. They are very cheap and easy to find online - I could pop one in the post as I bought a pack of ten!

No it isn't a self threading.

At the moment, I can thread needles, without glasses. Which even I am amazed at.
It was just a pain keep having to do it, every 3 minutes or so )grin2(
