Barrel was found in someones garage, the black painted steel was from an old bunk bed and the silver aluminium slats were out of the scrap bin at work, took me about day and a half in total

comments please!

Looks great but my concern is will the aluminium keh stand up to the heat?

its stainless steel, this one was built for my younger brother. i have one and so does my mom and dad, and another brother, the barrels are bullet proof when it comes to heat they just discolour thats all

they are certainly a talking point when people come round and yes i drained one once at the top of my garden path and it was like a beer river running down! seems a waste but trust me it wasnt fit for human consumption!

thanks, i used to be a welder and now i sit at a desk but so enjoy getting my hands dirty and making something

the satisfaction of making something yourself is great

its actually a piece of perforated steel which to be honest didnt work all that well as the holes were quite small so i had to drill them bigger

on the previous ones i had made i used some old oven shelves and just added some more bars on them so the food wouldnt fall through....................just a case of using whats to hand i suppose
