Perchy and other crafters, loving the ideas on here. I need to knit some little soft toys for a new God Daughter, any good sites for patterns please? We have some blackcurrant gin doing nicely, along with some wine, and nearly finished two pairs of kilt socks which have been great to make. Patchwork on the go and a lovely shawl type scared, and some Christmas stockings . . . Ooh and a bit of work in between! Where do we get the time?. Lovely to read what you all do xx

Brings back memories of the suitcase under the bed as a child, in the run-up to Christmas. Excitement growing as more gifts were added and the day got nearer.
Somehow I don't think my still-childish efforts would be appreciated now.

I was looking for a vase the other day to put sunflowers in (it ended up in the teapot, as you can see in my profile pic!) but i found some lovely little jars, i forgot i had put away. Ive also got a nice little basket so, someone (though not sure who yet) will be getting some jams

Wow you lovely laners are going great guns with the Christmas gifts and i would love to be on all of your lists and getting any of those lovely things :-D

Perchy I love your bunting and I might give it a try and make a festive one for my fireplace you have really inspired me thankyou {hug}
Also another contributing factor is that the other day i got some lovely deep blue ribbon with siver bells on, and some very glitzy gold sparkly ribbon both about 1inc wide for 5p a mtr, so i got 4mtrs of each :-D
I got some others too, i was very rash and spent £1.20 on ribbon, but i did get 20mtrs of the stuff but I suppose I could jaz the horses winter rugs up with it, Daniel would love the pink or mint green {rofwl} Lindaxx
And then there was one, Again!!!!
