Re: Fungi in New Zealand...Sara, I wish our pharmacy would do that. Lots of fungi grow in our garden but I am way tooooo scared to eat them. I have a friend who is Thai, she tells me that if you cook a mushroom in with I bit of rice and it tints the colour of the rice then it it poisonous, if it doesn't change the rice colour it is safe to set. I am still afraid to try it.
