bramble and elderberry wine ?bramble and elderberry wine ?today i picked 5lbs of brambles and 6lbs of elderberries and plan to make some bramble and elderberry wine can anybody give me an idiot proof rundown of how much sugar water etc this will need to make some nice plonk cheers stuart
Re: bramble and elderberry wine ?I have read that it is better to make them separately, then blend them later if wanted.
I used 3lbs fruit and sugar for elderberries, and I think 4lb brambles/3lbs sugar for blackberry wine. It does depend on recipes really though. Helen xx
