Mrs Boodles!

Post by p.penn »

Just to let you know that I was so inspired by your thread that I had a go!

Image

It took me longer than I expected, but also I think I made it too big (even though I reduced it during making!)

I am pleased with it though! )t'

Ooh that's a good idea, I started getting the material ready and was going to use an embroidery hoop but they are pricey, metal hanger it is thank you {hug}

Thank you! I followed bunny mummy's advice and just used garden wire. I would it round a bin to get a rough circle, and used a double thickness. My wire was very flimsy so should have used 3 lots really, but it will do for a first attempt!

Coat hanger sounds good, but dont have any!

You are really getting into making pretty things. I love this country look and the colours are quite Christmassy. Just going to sort out garden wire and have a go )t'

I have made 7 of these now - the biggest one (which is in the photo) is on my front door. The others, which are slightly smaller, are nicer I think. They look fuller.

I think that's enough wreath making for this year!
