Christmas cake

Post by albertajune »

At last I have decorated my Christmas cake but I must say that having arthritis in my hand, with some difficulty.
Anyway thought you might like to see it to keep the Christmas theme going.
I modelled the roses from a miniature rose that I have called Sweet Memories. I thought that when we cut the cake, it will be nice to raise a glass to all those that we shared this time with in the past.

I am now a widow and live with my memories.

June your decoration is beautiful.

Mine is water icing, slapped on with a spoon, whipped up with a fork to resemble snow, with plastic holly and Father Christmases for decoration.

That is beautiful. My Grandson decorated the cakes I'd made for all the family so they look as if a 4 yr old had done it. (Which they would have if I'd decorated them too)
Then we had lunch - sandwiches made from the spare icing between 2 biscuits!
