Thank you...
Mrs Boodles have a look on the internet there are loads of pics for inspiration and you can either use packs of fondant or buttercream....

A few cakes then cut them to look like a hive...cover in a browny coloured frosting/ or fondant then make some little fondant bees....you could do it :-D )t'

They are stunningly beautiful and you are so clever.

They are also out and out cruelty, as I am trying to lose some weight :?

Thanks Sara...I tried to do a Ying/Yang shape but it was hard pushing the fondant my extruder so I got a bit wonky towards the end......the garden side of the cake was vanilla and the golf side was banana (Stan only really likes banana cake)..it was a pain in the backside to cut because the thin bits kept breaking off...there was a lot of chocolate filling involved around there )w( (I normally make my own butter cream filling but if anyone hasn't tried it and if you can get it...get Betty Crockers Deluxe chocolate filling....it is devine!!)

My friend who had the tortoise one we had a get together in one of the pubs in town....I gave it to one of the girls as they very kindly offered to bring out....as the one carrying it was coming out of the door she tripped!!!!! ...I kid you not I don't know how she didn't drop it but she somehow managed to recover herself...I didn't know whether to laugh or cry...I'd managed to get it 40kms without incident {rofwl}
