the rabbits.....

Post by boosmummy »

Not content with eating my curtains, they have no started on a couple of wires! So they have been moved. The problem is they are so messy and they flick sawdust all over my lounge. Could I put that woodchip cat litter in their cage rather than sawdust, bear in mind they move all their sawdust away and don't sleep on it,it would make my life a lot easier!

Sorry had to {rofwl} because it reminded me of when Clare had a pet rat called Rambo and he used to chew curtains, duvet covers, pillowcases and anything else he could get his mouth round. He also just loved bon bons and would dribble all down his chin if you had one.

When we had Bunge our rabbit although outdoors in the washouse he used to have X cut newspaper or cardboard for bedding and just wondered if that would be suitable/better in doors. Not sure about the cat litter tbh, perhaps you could ask the pet shops who sell it.

Didnt realise you had brought them in, so must have missed that.

I don't have rabbits but I have guineapigs that live indoors. Some people use
vetbed or fleece in their indoor runs, mine have vetbed in their "upstairs bedroom" As rabbits are supposed to be quite clean & only poop in one area,
(I've seen rabbit litter trays in petshop) couldn't they just have the sawdust in
the poop & the hay bit & something like vetbed in the rest? Just a thought.
