phone charge station

Would this be safe/enough to do with a shoebox?

Bare in mind the extension would probably be plugged in all the time?

The only problem I would have with that is if the extension gets overheated as they sometimes do in confined spaces, and with the shoebox being cardboard it might catch fire.

The heat build up won't be enough to make the cardboard combust, although the chargers may over heat slightly I wouldn't be overly worried about it.

If you are worried, just find some nice stencils and use them as a template to carve out a pattern from the lid to help the heat escape :)

Hi

If it's placed at the back of a work surface couldn't you just have it three side as in front and two sides?

No one would know.

I think it wouldn't be that much dangerous if you would remove the plug of the extension always after use. )t'
