Another few weeks and it will be the start of the planting season but tbh over the years I've been more of a plant it water it sometimes and see what happens kinda gardener and surprise surprise it has not been a very successfull way to get some half decent crops. So this year its gonna be different fingers crossed.
Problem is Im getting confused with all the fertilisers there are on the market and quite literally I could spend 100's of pounds just on all the fertilisers out there for all the different crops. I had thought just to use the chicken pellet fertiliser from B&Q for to pop into planting holes or trenches. Big buckets that seem to do a good job allround and are a lot cheaper relative to fertilisers such as the chempak lines.
Am I falling into a trap by buy cheap fertiliser or is the expensive stuff really worth the money??
I see specialist potatoe fertilisers and strawberrys and some for onions and then theres the potash and the nitrogen for fruits and greens. My heads buzzing with it all so I'm looking for advice please to see what others use?
Thanks Wayne
