Just a small point-
I had a 5 Rod allotment a few years ago.
We had no cats on site, we relied on a fox keeping the vermin under control and I have to say that we were rarely bothered by rats or pigeons and when we were it wasn't for long.
The Fox was encouraged to visit by the occasional treat & on more than one occasion bought the family.
We were not allowed to keep live stock and chicken manure/fertilizer were not readily available.
Mallard, are you allowed livestock on your allotments? as I am sure Foxy would go for the easy option, Would also dig up the plots using chicken based fertilizers.
If the Cat goes the Fox moves in.
Maybe something in there you can find useful )t'

An anonymous call to the local paper may make a mockery of one or two of the Red Tape boys and girls.

Ridiculous, typical non-paid Committee types clap trap !!

Tell those dinosaurs to clean up their act and get the plot sorted, or you will give them a good kick up the arse! I think the people taking the new plot should be able to make that decision )t' If they want him he stay's !

It's our AGM this Sunday, the committee and Dennis interested parties will be asked to stay behind to sort out the problem.
I've been doing a little telephone lobbying tonight and think we have the right solution! >fi<

From 'Your Pets and the Law'..

Dog owners have a stated duty to control and supervise their pet when in a pubic place and manage where they can go and their actions, whereas cats are considered to have a legal 'right to roam'- although this does not release the cat owner from potential liability and responsibility under the law if their pet causes damage to another person or the property belonging to them.

Only thing is that someone may have to 'own it'.

You can quickly find out who owns Dennis's little domain by putting your hand in his box when he's at home! yike* {rofwl}

Didn't turn out quite as I'd hoped, but I wasn't aware that the chap who died had left his greenhouse to another committee member. It wasn't what I was told, but had to accept it!
Dennis, his house and various items will be moved to a greenhouse about thirty yards away belonging to one of his trusted friends. He will continue to be looked after by several people; I just hope Dennis doesn't object to the move! >fi<

Now I've got to type out the minutes of this! :-D

Kind of bad news and good news isn't it.

If you can pick him up without 32 stitches, then move him in manually to have a sniff around I suppose.
Other than that, food is the usual incentive, let him follow his bowl!

I do hope it'll turn out OK.

At least no one suggested the worse.

Bureaucracy !!
