Finished! Phew!

Post by p.penn »

Well, I am very pleased to have finished my second crochet blanket!!! )c( )pty

This one has only taken me two months, compared to the eight months the first one took yike* Mind you, it has been worked on every day, often for hours on end!

Image

There are 120 x 5 row squares - my first one had 168x 4 row squares, but they seem approx the same size. I have been making them big enough to cover the top of a double bed, so they will be quite versatile. My only concern is that when I took this second photo, a large brown and white sort of fluffy blemish seems to have appeared )grin2(

Oh that is beautiful, how clever you are! I love the blemish too, such a pretty one - how fortunate :-D

{rofwl} Honestly, you wouldn't credit it - whenever I try to take a pic of her she gets up or turns away......but whenever I am trying to photograph something else (particularly crochet!) she photo bombs it {rofwl}

Nice blanket.
Will you be wrapping it around yourself and selling flowers in the town square?

It was so worth the effort Helen. Beautiful!! The blemish is beautiful too and sets it off a treat.

Now that is a real nice blanket, love the colours. Seeing such lovely crochet really makes me want to knuckle down and learn how to do it properly.
