They are going to be beautiful girls Drummy, and so happy in their new homes. It's not surprising they'll be shell shocked, they may never have seen the outside before and may not have had that much space to roam about in.

So I see they are eating, and pooing. Natural chicken behaviour!

The Ginger Hen is my favorite , its a young warren i bought and is bottom of the pecking order and always runs to me for the treats instead of getting left out and getting nothing !

Does not seem to mind getting picked up either

Not finished yet as the netting is all wrong and just left overs but i've done it so it can just clip off so will be getting New all black stuff and the gate is being moved it was just done with what i had for free this week .

It is so amazing to see just what lovely colours ex bats are when their feathers have the chance to grow isn't it. My ex bat Gwen took six months for her bald head to regrow, long after the rest of her so you never know. You had a lovely day for extension building, more Christopher Wren now than Delia? Love the Nessie

Good to know the bald ex bat still has a chance of getting some feathers on its noggin or i will have to knit it a beanie for winter
Must say they are loving the extension just need a few more toys in there for them they love the log and sun bathe on it

She'll grow her head feathers back, maybe sooner rather than later. My Gabby grew hers back as soon as she came home, but Nugget took a good six months or so. If she hasn't got any other big bald patches she'll probably start sprouting them soon enough. But knit her a beanie anyway, don't forget to leave a gap for her comb to get through! And definitely when you put it on her! (I bet you could sell them!)
