That was lovely, doesn`t matter if tame or wild fox does it Richard, just a lovely video.
Have you ever heard of the book, The ballad of the Belstone Fox, it is set in a foxhunting theme but all about the relationship between a foxhound and fox who were reared together. Made into a film as well.

The GSD looks just like our Misty, although she and our Jack Russell don't play with any foxes that stray into our garden in quite the same way

Like you say, Richard, who knows how it came about, but lovely to see just the same.

Our Staffie, Bella went for a walk with Terry this a.m. and chased a fox - not in play either! Not sure what she would have done if it had stopped and turned towards her though. Maybe would have run in the opposite direction. LOL

hehe. Most dogs do chase foxes.

The GSD is almost identical to 'Ben', who belongs to the owners who used to live in the Mill House and I still do odd jobs in their new place.
Without a shadow of a doubt, he would rip the fox to bits!

He once jumped the fence and got to one of my Chickens, I just fell on him stomach first and luckily a. the Chicken got away and b. I didn't get mauled mysel!!

The dog is playing with the fox just like ours play with our cats.
In fact one of our cats runs under our westies nose and then throws himself on the floor for her to do that funny nibble thing to him like the gsd does to foxy loxy lindaxx
