Saving money on my fridge

Post by p.penn »

The bulb in my fridge blew a couple of months back, and it occurred to me that it would be very frugal not to replace it, so I haven't.

Actually, it's double frugal, actually treble!

1. Uses less leccy
2. No cost of new bulb
3. Food isn't lit up like Blackpool illuminations looking extra deliciously tempting and irresistible, so saving on food.

I have a vision of you delving through the contents of your fridge whilst wearing a miners lamp.

My first thought was that I have never had a bulb go in any of my fridges/freezers, so you must be in there a heck of a lot. )run(

Second thought was on similar lines to Dom, but a torch. {rofwl}

Head torch, surely, like cavers etc wear. This leaves both hands free for delving.
Bea; 19 hens (most of whom I intended to get); 6 bantams (which I never intended to have); old Benji dog and young Toby dog (who I definitely wanted). Three years into country living and loving it.

Some of us obviously remember the three day week !!

Must admit I forget how long my Fridge hasn't had a working light in it !!

I'm against Christmas lights, but that's because I'm a miserable git :-D
