Re: British Hedgehog Preservation SocietyGreat websirte, the poor hedgepigs have had it hard recently, I can't honestly say when the last time I saw one was.
Bah Humbug
Re: British Hedgehog Preservation SocietyI'm glad you've posted this - I daren't really try to help hedgehogs by building a house or encouraging them, because we live on a very busy 'A' road and I'd worry about them being run over.
But I can join this and hopefully help a bit
Re: British Hedgehog Preservation SocietyThank you scrambled

Re: British Hedgehog Preservation SocietyApart from seeing them, how do you know if you have them? And is there anything you can do to get them? Love them to bits and would happily take care of them.
Sorry, though, Richard - Ann Widdecomb just doesn't fo it for me!
Re: British Hedgehog Preservation Society
I've posted a pic here of Hedgehog poo you should see some around if they are in the garden already. To attract them in put out a couple of shallow dishes ..one with water and one with meaty dog food.
Re: British Hedgehog Preservation SocietyThanks, Jannie - I shall sift through the many types of pooh in our garden with renewed interest! I've never seen one here but will try to encourage them - it isn't hot and dry where we are, so they probably don't need that kind of help but we'll keep a watch.
Re: British Hedgehog Preservation SocietyBen Fogle is a bit dishy it must be said, but I really wouldn't like to be his wife.
Can you imagine, every other week, "I'm off on another dangerous expedition, dear, don't know when or if I'll be back". Must be worse than being married to a fireman I should think. Ellie x
Re: British Hedgehog Preservation Societyelliebear..
That's why I'm not married any more, two wives just couldn't keep up with my daring adventures around the globe :) It's just hedgehogs now New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
