Hi I'm a newbie to this forum
My squash plant has grown into a Triffid, it's about 10 ft long! There are no flowers so far; is this a failed plant and therefore do I need to compost it, or might flowers (and therefore fruit) still appear?

Re: My Squash has grown into a Triffid!!!Depending on the variety, squash plants do grow big and the recent warm weather has probably encouraged a lot of growth so I'd leave it. Have you been feeding it - although squash are nitrogen hungry, perhaps add some potash to encourage flowers. There's still plenty of time for flowers - it is after all still July (okay, only just) and my squash usually go into overdrive about August ... the warm weather has just brought them forward a bit.
