Took a Spade To Our GSD Last Night

Post by Totally Scrambled »

Called the dog in from the garden last night and got no response.
Trawled round the garden with a torch and could find no sign of her.
Our Jack Russell then started growling at the garden room which is half way up the garden and sure enough the stupid hound was stuck underneath it.
The garden slopes slightly so one end to the garden room is higher than the other and she'd belly crawled under it and then got stuck under the lower end.
So equipped with an inspection light and a spade I dug out the earth until there was enough room for her to get out.
She was a bit sorry for herself but otherwise fine.
Stupid dog :-D

{rofwl} Wish I had seen that - Was Ali filming you? {rofwl} Glad she is ok though {hug}

Oddly, a friend's dog went missing one day and he eventually found her under his shed, but fortunately the dog was able to get out!

Ps Are you sure it is the garden that slopes and it was nothing to do with your shed building skills? )grin2(

Glad she is alright but I bet it was worrying for her. It's good to have a chuckle at these things, but you and Ali must have been a bit worried too.
