Loved the first Bake Off, glad it's started again. What makes people want to put themselves through something like that though?

I enjoyed it too, nice to see something `normal' on television and not all blood and guts etc.

Mrs Fab and i watch it. Though i have to admit that I like the early episodes when the less talented burn the buns, drop things talking them out of the oven, get mixed up and put salt in instead of sugar, etc. In the later stages, they are all so talented it gets a bit more predictable.

Tonight was bread night. The bakers come up with some very inventive ideas. We sit here, mouths watering. :-D

Indeed they did, and I have been inspired to start my flavoured bread again with pesto (home made land cress and almond) and local feta style cheese with a little olive. Pinwheels. )c+

Love the programme though some people get up my nose. But that's life.

I bake all our bread at the weekend but have never been brave enough to attempt flavoured bread. I've found a great bread website though http://www.thefreshloaf.com
