Campaign, Hen Harrier vs grouse shoots

Post by kitla »

For anyone who's not aware of this, the Hen Harrier is bordering on extinction
mainly due to the increase of grouse shooting. It seems that rather than a hobby
this has become a profit driven business & the harrier's are in the way.
Here's some info on the campaign & also a link to an e-petition urging defra to
stop putting off the plan to save the harrier, before its too late.

I believe once there's 100,000 signatures it will be debated at parliament, so this one
has a way to go yet!
