I love beetroot warm from the pan either with or without a bit of vinegar >veg< .

Iv never tried it raw though has anyone else ?

Yes. Try it grated, as you might with carrots, in a salad. Tastes quite earthy.

I have some ready for cooking tomorrow, I like vinegar but I like beetroot without vinegar, I like to eat them as they are, and remember that the next day yike*
