The skill of nest building

Post by Richard »

The Gardener at the place I work now and again called me over yesterday.

He was cutting a heavy leafed bush back and came accross this Long Tailed Tit's nest.
Appears not in use anymore.

You can just see the hole top left.

But the thing that got me is it's a real work of art and such intricate detail.

I think us humans could learn a thing or two from our little feathered friends on intricate detail.
