Today's visitor - a beautiful butterfly

Found a red admiral resting on a paving slab in the garden today. The summer is slipping away but we are still blessed with occasional flash of beauty.

We have been messing about in the garden of late moving a pond and frogs etc and have seen several Red admirals, it is lovely to still have a few about, they will be gone soon enough )t'
