I've joined a gym

Post by boosmummy »

Ideally on my finances i wouldn't have done, but since my toe operation 7 weeks ago, I've put on nearly a stone! Since starting work in February that's another stone too :-( that's two stone since this last year. I feel uncomfortably fat, my clothes don't fit and I look like a fat moon head! I can't run because I can't bend my toes, I should be able to eventually hopefully but not for another 7 weeks. Cycling is really hard work because we pretty much live at the top of a hill, so I joined the gym, I can use the cycle machine, the rowing machine, ease into running on the treadmill and swim. Added bonus is the jacuzzi spa!!

Just make sure my think works are wound extra tight, and I will formulate a plan!

{rofwl} {rofwl} {rofwl} I'm sure you don't!

Good luck with it - sounds like you're fired up. (The best bit sounds like the jacuzzi )t' )

It's amazing!!! They have an inside part and an outdoor part you can sit in the rain if you want! It also has 3 spa rooms, one is a lemongrass relaxation room, good for the immune system apparently!!

I've been the last three days this week while I've been off. My routine has been 2 miles on the bike, 1 mile on the rowing machine, between half aand 1 mile on the cross trainer. Between 10-20 lengths of a 20 m pool, then spa and jacuzzi!!

)app( Well done, you! Very energetic.....I still think the best bit sounds like the spa facilities {rofwl}

How often are you planning to exercise?

Well...im not sure..it depends on how much m.e. Will let me! Ive woke up with mouth ulcers this morning..thats the start of the downward spiral!! Ideally I think 3 times a week to start. My hours at work have changed so I do 20 hours 5 days at 4hours a day.

The reason I joined the gym with the spa is mainly for the m.e. It makes me sit and do nothing and relax after my workout! - honest {rofwl}
