Fingers crossed

Post by wendy »

Tilly has been reserved. She met The Father and son yesterday. She met Mother today and has to meet the daughter.
Then they have to have a home check. So it could take a couple of weeks. But I do hope so much for this, for her.

I met Tilly's new Dad today, seems a very nice Guy.
They have visited her every day since Saturday, which is encouraging.
Just a home and vet check. She could be in her forever home at the weekend. I am so excited for her.
No they aren't friends, Helen )grin2(

After I had been with Tilly today. The whole of the family, Mum, Dad and two grown children, came see her. Very encouraging. As I walked around the large field with Valentina, I could see her playing in the paddock with them all. How lovely, her very own 'special' people. I do hope this works out. Just the home and Vet check to go. Then she should be home next week.
Little Valentina is doing well. I have had her a week today. She bounces around the kennel and howls when I arrive now. They had a meeting yesterday about the dogs and all agreed that she is less depressed now. So fingers crossed I can make her trust people, as this is her problem. So she turns off.
I was also aske to take on Sammy once Tilly goes. He isn't good on the lead and is aggressive to other dogs. So a completely new challenge.
Here he is. He is a real live wire, I have seen him for the past 7 weeks and somehow knew I would end up with him )grin2(
