Hi everyone,
My daffodils are starting to grow!!
I planted them in pots in September with no signs of growth.
Any thoughts or ideas? Should I cover them over?
at least my tulips are still sleeping, I think.....
Daft DaffodilsDaft DaffodilsHi everyone,

Re: Daft DaffodilsSame here! We are in the South and the daffs in the pot are really moving along. I wont do anything with them, I think they are quite tough. Cheers me up though
Re: Daft DaffodilsAs soon as you plant spring bulbs in September, they throw out roots almost straight away and start to push top growth up but usually this slows down as the soil cools down ... with such a mild autumn, they have just carried on growing. I wouldn't worry about it - when the temperature drops, they'll just stop growing and be fine.
Re: Daft DaffodilsWe have daffs in the grass of the orchard, so have to make sure , if we are a bit late with the last cut of the year, that they haven't started pushing up.
