One for Mad Chick
One for Mad ChickLucy, when are we going to have an update on your new puppy. He must be like a toddler by now and getting into everything. Love to see a pic.

Re: One for Mad ChickI second what June says, Lucy.

Re: One for Mad ChickThanks for asking
Sorry it's been a long time coming - my mum has been very poorly since the week after getting Eddie and all my time has been taken up going back and forth to hospital etc. With hindsight, not a great time to get a puppy but I wouldn't change it for the world. Despite also having to worry about him while dashing around with mum and worrying when hospital visits or appointments drag on and I've left him at home in his crate, I am so thankful we have him. His little face when I come down in the morning, so full of love makes it all worthwhile. I still can't believe we've actually got a dog, I never thought he'd worm his way quite this much into my heart He has settled in so well and is such a happy little chap. He loves his walks and will follow me for hours around the local park, an inch from my heels the whole way - but the minute I put a lead on him, he plants his feet and won't budge an inch! We started taking him to puppy classes a few weeks ago and he's progressing nicely - although I get told by the trainer (who has nicknamed him Digby!) that I am too soft and Izzy is better! And last week we were very excited to find a smaller puppy than Eddie there Toilet training is mostly going OK, he still has a couple of accidents indoors a day - but this is mostly down to me not noticing the signs he needs to go out. And he's still VERY chewy and those puppy teeth are razor sharp! Despite the basket full of toys, he still prefers to chew us... and we have several pieces of furniture now with chewed off corners I took some more photo's yesterday so will get those on here later - he's doubled in size and he now has sticky up ears that are far too big him - my friend says he looks like a wingless bat Lucy x
