River Cottage Christmas Bread ........

Post by fabindia »

Last night's baking.

Image

The smell of it cooking is almost as good as the taste. A fabulously rich bread, with milk, eggs, butter, brandy, raisins, currents, apple, currents, nuts, cinnamon, allspice.

Google 'River Cottage Christmas Bread'.

A merry Christmas to all.

That looks yummy )t'

I made a spiced fruit loaf last night, so I could have fruity toast for breakfast (usually I eat stollen Christmas morning, but opted for a quicker make).

I guess you mean this one?

Yes that's the link.

Talking of spiced fruit loaf, we have a great recipe for chia (Indian tea) loaf from Ringtons (if anyone knows who they are).
