marmalade. just for men?

Post by Mo »

I don't like marmalade.
I offered some to my daughters, they don't like it but their partners do. And at the dance club bring & buy, someone bought a jar for her husband - she didn't like it either.

I do like marmalade but OH will have it in preference to anything else on his toast in the morning.

I like Marmalade too, though I do like lime or grapefruit for a change, rather than just orange all the time.
Mr Hedgehugger isn't too fussed.

You don't like marmalade? Strange....!

Two slices of brown toast then a skimp of butter followed by marmalade and mature cheddar cheese into a sandwich accompanied by a glass of ice cold milk.

Don't knock it until you've tried it!

Also works with cold stewed rhubarb

Cheers

I meant to try it with my red onion marmalade and cheese but the gluten problem has blown up big time again so no bread or much else again for a while. GF bread is hopeless and costs a fortune. Hard to find much edible for lunch when I'm onsite although Morrisons does a good baked potato and chilli if I'm in the area.

Back to school dinners again - savoury mice (mince even) and mashed potato for a few weeks. This condition really is a pain and you know how to finish that sentence (2,3,4) for you crossworders

Cheers
