Fresh Start for Hens - Recruiting Volunteers

Post by bluebell »

Fresh Start for Hens are currently trying to expand the network of Collection Points they have in England and Wales.

In England we are looking for volunteers willing to host Collection Points in Dorset, Durham, Tyne and Wear and Merseyside.

Volunteers need to ensure they have clear vehicular access and somewhere for rehomers to park whilst they collect hens - somewhere to 'hold' the hens whilst awaiting collection (could be a temporary run/stable/gazebo with net sides) - good communication skills (emails and phone calls to rehomers) - able to provide clean drinking water and a bit of feed to hens. We do not expect CP hosts to overnight hens - but in some situations that would be a bonus.

If you are interested please pm me here or send any enquiry to volunteer@fsfh.org.uk.

Thank you for reading - if you cannot help or are not interested - you might know someone in these areas who might be - so please share.

Thank you {hug}

We are revamping the website and I don't know exactly when it will be back up and running. As soon as it is back up and running I will let you know.
