A frog has decided to stay

Post by cgisby »

About a week ago I heard the neighbours screaming that their cat had brought in a frog but it was still alive, I knew she would have wanted to kill it so I said I'd take it on. Gave its eye a quick clean (had a bit of blood) and put it in our water feature, and so far he seems to be enjoying it. He has plenty of escape routes and hasn't taken any, instead he's probably enjoying that it is full of snails and other bugs. I love it to bits, the first frog I've ever had in my garden.

The first frog you've seen in the garden :)

Unless yours is walled there are probably a few hiding somewhere.

cool pic of a cool frog )t'

Try going out at night with a torch, you may spot some you never knew about.

I was looking at my pond today and noticed a fish with what might have been little legs. So a newt I guess.
Lots of frogs in the garden which I see now & then.

Handsome young one :-D

I haven't seen any in the garden yet, nor Toads, but they always sem to appear quite late here for some reason.

There's a chance there may be one or two in the Frog / Toad house I built but that's all grown over and I don't want to disturb it.

There again, there's enough places for them to hide away in my garden!
