Fell over today running to work this morning. Fortunately, no damage other than a grazed knee, sore hands and injured pride.
It comes with the territory, I am afraid, even top class runners take the occasional tumble, when it is icy under foot, muddy or simply misjudge a kerb. I run on average 32 miles a week, that's about 1,600 miles a year and have fallen twice in the past ten years or so. So not bad on average, 8,000 miles per fall, but then again I am getting pretty ancient now so falling over not something I want to do too often
