Ferne

Post by wendy »

I have got about where I can with Valentina and Missy.
I go to them everyday and spend about 40 minutes each with them But no sign of a home yet. They are not easy to rehome, as they both have issues that will need to be lived with.
But I have taken on Ferne as well. She is an 18 month old Staffy. Very excitable but very lovable as well. She will get 40 minutes of my time every day as well. keep your >fi<

Difficult to rehome as she is a staffy and a brindl as well.
But we will see

Love her name, and her happy face. Hopefully she will find a new home as I think that Staffies could be losing a bit of the discrimination that they have faced in the past.
As usual, I applaud you Wendy for devoting your time to these dogs who really need that bit of special love. )app(

Megan is really doing well. Put on about 9lb. Wags her tail all the time and is happy I think.

Yay little Fearne is starting to calm
She can give both paws and touch when I ask her to. As well as the normal sit, down, stand etc. So eager to learn.
Her walking is so much better and she now sits for me to open and close gates.
Best of al,l no manic stupidity when you go to put on her lead

Glad she is coming along so well Wendy. I know you are doing and have done a wonderful job with all the dogs that you have cared for and can only imagine the satisfaction that you must feel when a 'problem' dog starts to learn and trust.

Megan is looking such a happy old girl now. She has settled in so well with the help of Dave of course )t'

So many people on here admire you for your dedication. I hope you do know that {hug}

I love Staffy's - my old dog Benson was a Staffy GSD cross and a brindle....sounds like an oddity but he was just the nicest dog ever....If I had the means I take her home with me.

Another lucky pooch with you on her side {hug}
