Swans

Post by Richard »

Managed to get out for a couple of hours today so walked over the fields behind here as a short cut through to Connington Lakes, about a mile.

So many Swans, lovely to watch.

The Black Swans below I photographed last Friday at Eastwell Lake, about two miles away..

I read there are more Swans than most years. Supposed to be a sign of a very cold winter.

I suggest we all )run( somewhere warm.

Apparently the Siberian Swans are over much earlier than usual. Another sign of a bad winter allegedly. Lots of berries on the holly already too.

Signs and portents! I bought a thinsulate beanie hat for hubby today. Got to take the signs seriously :-D
