Short Eared Owl at Sandwich

Post by Richard »

So lucky today. I went to Sandwich Bird Observatory and had a long walk around the Reserve.
Just when I thought not much about, along came this Beauty..

Some birds and other wildlife I see brings a little tear - this one did, you see so many things in them.

Stunning! I saw this on Twitter, just after I had seen some pictures posted of a hovering kestrel. Samuel West (Timothy's son) is a keen twitcher and often posts his pics & movements on Twitter. Might be worth a follow? Hmm, posting movements could have been better phrased
No girls at the moment but look forward to getting more in the future. Proud mummy to Hector, a Bedlington Terrier x Jack Russell
