So pleased to hear that Cyril has at last gone to a good home where he will be loved and well cared for.

I can feel how much you will miss him Wendy. When you have spent so much time with one dog, that dog must almost be like one of your own. Thankfully you will be able to work that special "magic" that you have with a new one on Monday.

I hope you do get to hear how your past charges are getting on. {hug}

He is June and I must admit I got upset.
But it was for me. Not him. He is better off.
I do have a video of him and I at the beginning. I will see if I can get Richard to put it on here.

It was an awful wet, muddy and windy day, so ignore the yeti with him.
He is just learning so all lure work. But he isn't on a lead and always stayed to work with me

The thing which gets me is how much happier trained dogs are.

I do admire what you have done. You will miss Cyril (what a splendid name) but you have given him a happy future. That's something to be really proud of.
Bea; 19 hens (most of whom I intended to get); 6 bantams (which I never intended to have); old Benji dog and young Toby dog (who I definitely wanted). Three years into country living and loving it.

Totally agree with you, Richard. A lot like children really, keep them occupied and they are no probs.

Lovely video, Wendy. He is very food orientated, unlike Teddy who is not, but loves his grunty/squeaky pig. LOL

Had a look on the site and noticed that they do not recommend any dog being with cat or cats. Is this because they have no way of 'testing the water' with cats to see what they are like? Just wondered.

Hi Gwen.
There are some dogs that are gifted in that have lived with cats.
They do cat test, as they rehome cats as well.
I haven't looked at them all on the site, so I dunno why that is said.

and Yes Richard a trained dog is happier. Because he isn't is a state of confusion all the time. Not knowing what is required of him. Once he knows what is going on. He is less stressed.
