Jericho - ITV last nightJericho - ITV last nightWe watched the first episode of "Jericho" last night. Both enjoyed it, and neither of us fell asleep. It will be interesting to see how it develops.
On Wednesday night we watched Lucy Worsley's programme about the Tsars, a subject which I find intriguing, there are other episodes in the series. After Lucy, there was a re-run programme on the Queen's Castles. The castles are of course impressive, but we were not impressed with all the pomp, ceremony and trivia which go into making a banquet go without a hitch.
Re: Jericho - ITV last nightI enjoyed it as well spreckers.
I come from a long line of Civil Engineers going back to the 18th. Century and some were involved in a lot of Railway Bridge works - so a fascination for me to watch. It's a pity they all have such good teeth though It will be interesting to see how the story pans out. Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
Re: Jericho - ITV last nightI recorded it but then deleted as I've got so much to watch already I thought I'll never get to it. I might download again though if it was good.
I love Lucy Worsley, you can guarantee that whatever she does is usually pretty interesting and she does love a good costume to dress up in Kath xx

Re: Jericho - ITV last nightI didn't see Jericho but I did enjoy the programme on the Tsars. It's a fascinating period of history and I think the link from the Imperial Days to post-Revolution might clear a few things up in my mind.
Bea; 19 hens (most of whom I intended to get); 6 bantams (which I never intended to have); old Benji dog and young Toby dog (who I definitely wanted). Three years into country living and loving it.
Re: Jericho - ITV last nightJust catching up with Jericho. Watched the first episode last night and really enjoyed it so I'm looking forward to the next one tonight

Re: Jericho - ITV last nightThe storyline is getting a bit deeper isn't it and I quite enjoyed it.
I had an inkling that it could have a Great Expectations theme to it, that's in the sense of the chap being not what he was made out to be. Interesting to see how the American's storyline goes. Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
Re: Jericho - ITV last nightthe twisty-turney plot is twisting and turning like a twisty-turney thing.
Bah Humbug
Re: Jericho - ITV last nightRather suspicious of the American.
Re: Jericho - ITV last nightI'm really enjoying it. Up to date now and can't wait for next weeks 'twisty turny' plot
Can't make out if the American is a really baddie or just being bad for good reasons Kath xx

Could someone discover this & blackmail him to release Johnny ??
That's my guess, but I'm pretty useless at working these things out, I'm usually wrong! "He who is cruel to animals becomes hard also in his dealings with men. We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals."
